Under Renovation: Raleigh - Mar. 5th
Big plans have been revealed on build outs for major Raleigh locations, some minor news updates, and some more tunes (as always) coming your way.
Good morning Raleigh! Hopefully in aid of some of the fires I talk about below, prepare for thunderstorms and high winds on Wednesday and keep up to date with alerts from providers, like Duke Energy here.
Otherwise, happy Wednesday. Let’s get started.

• Getting the bad out of the way first, wildfires are still burning across more than 3,300 acres in Western NC and South Carolina, up from this past weekend. Keep up to date on the spread of wildfires here and always be mindful of Red Flag Warnings in your area.
• Raleigh City Farm announced a FREE and open to the public celebration of their 14th birthday and Earth Day on April 26th, from 10am-2pm. There are limited meals through their partner, A Place At The Table, but endless coffee and beverages - read more here.
• Just a reminder, the largest Cars & Coffee in the Triangle was this past weekend. Catch future events on the 1st Saturday of each month at 8am - More info here.
• The UNC System will NOT increase tuition for the universities in it’s system, for the 9th straight year. They have updated their webpage to reflect their commitment to affordable tuition - see their page here.
• Red Hat Amphitheater has released their renderings of the revamped relocation of the beloved music venue. Check those out below and read more at this link.

• Lenovo Center has also released some renovation mock-ups this week, take a look below at some of the ways they plan to update the arena.

What are your thoughts on all of the proposed updates in the area?

Another interesting link from the NC Museum of History, this time about a master potter, Senora Lynch. Read more below and look out for more posts during Women’s History Month at their blog below:

Over the course of March I want to feature more business and communities focused around, built by, or operated via the women in our Raleigh community. If you have something that you would like to see called out in the newsletter this month, let us know by simply replying to this email.
In the meantime, I will be doing some various updates on the branding and organization of the site this month. I appreciate the support so far and hope to continue growing this for many years to come.
Thanks and see you Friday!
