Hi, I'm Mason. Founder of The Raleighwood Inbox.
Hi folks, it's Mason here. Wanted to share a few things about myself to get the channel started (nobody likes to be the first to post, haha).
I am a Raleigh local, was born here some 30ish years ago. Moved away for a bit in my college years to be with family in Florida and came back a few years ago to Raleigh, where I have been ever since.
I am full-time on the newsletter as of mid-2026 but my previous careers have taken me through a wide variety of roles. I graduated with an art degree, made my way through some Animation and Graphic Design roles, launched a career in IT, and until recently, worked in Cybersecurity at a Fortune 500.
I enjoy reading books, finding (and playing) new music, and working on a variety of passion projects or learning new things in my free time.
I believe in good people, good times, and good intentions. I aim to write the newsletter with that same voice and I hope you all enjoy what comes out each and every week.

This is a space to chat about all things Raleigh and all you have to do to access it is login with the email you already use to receive the newsletter. No new app downloads or accounts to create.
The hope here is that by putting this simply on our website the ease of use will increase tremendously (we were previously on Discord).
