Round 2 in Raleighwood, Last Call for Jazz, & New Festivals! - November 12th
Things are starting to slow down as we near Thanksgiving but we've got a good list to keep you busy until then! Also, another announcement about our in-person events!
Good Morning Raleigh! Hope you’ve been handling the cold okay, my heat finally came on this week for the first time this year.
A few exciting updates before we start:
• Our community Discord is here! We’ve got a dedicated space to chat, as well as space to just talk about Raleigh and other things on in the community — check it out here.
• Dinner Club was a success! For our first event we had nearly 50 people make it out. The best part? We’ve taken your feedback to make it even better this time and were doing it again in just 3 weeks.
• Sign up for Dinner Club, Round 2 here (and reminder that you can invite a plus one at the end of the personality quiz, so please! Invite your friends and let’s pack this one out).

• Ole Sports Bar and Lounge also opened up over South West St — see them here.
• Godfather’s Pizza (yes, you read that right) makes it’s first return to Raleigh in nearly 40 years as the chain is still kicking — see the ABC article on it here.
Local Sports
• The Canes fell last night against the Capitals at home after coming off a 4 game win streak, they sit in the top 5 still in the league going their next game Friday (11-5-0).
• NC FC were knocked out in the semifinals of the USL conference, this brings their season to an end and the future of the team into question, given the recent news about their pitch for a higher league and suspending operations.

Thanks for reading everyone. Events felt a tad slower this week as we trend towards Thanksgiving. Maybe take some time to wind down and de-stress as you make you way into the weekend.
We had some feedback last week to lean a bit more Art & Culture when possible, not a ton this week but will keep that in mind going forward.
Hoping to bring you some more good stuff next week, see you then!
