City of Oaks Marathon — Website

When & Where: Raleigh, NC - 6AM-1:30PM

• One of the largest runs of the year, the City of Oaks Marathon runs a route from downtown, past the NC State Campus, and up Hillsborough Street. Choose from distances as low as 5k as well!

— November 4th —

NC Municipal Election Day! — Offices Up For Election

When & Where: All Day, North Carolina

• Municipal elections are coming up for a variety of Wake & NC positions, check out the link above for details on Angier, Apex, Cary, Durham, Holly Springs, Garner, & more!

• Local elections are where you have the most powerful say in policies that affect your direct community, so while we aren’t a political focused platform, we are a community one, and this is where you and your neighbors can make an impact.

— November 5th —

The Raleighwood Inbox Dinner Club — Join Here!

When & Where: Various Bars & Restaurants, Downtown Raleigh

• Take a personality quiz, match with 5 strangers for Dinner Reservations based on your answers and dietary preferences. While at dinner, get the secret invite to the after party where all the dinner guests meet to mingle.

40+ people so far, ages 21+ welcome! Claim your spot by November 3rd.

NOTE: This is our first event but we plan to do these at least monthly! So keep an eye out for events popping up in and around other areas of the Triangle soon as well.

Make Your Own Medieval Banner! — Sign Up

When & Where: Blackbird Books & Coffee, 6-7:30PM

• Your time has come! Raise ye banner tall and prepare thy crest with this handmade craft event for your very own banner — all supplies included, so sound thy horns!

Raleigh Underground Market — Event Info

When & Where: 11AM-3PM, Midtown Park

• Enjoy music by Oak City Music Collective, visit 50+ vendors, eat at the local food trucks, and more at this monthly market and event!

— November 11th —

Veterans Day Celebration — Official Raleigh Event

When & Where: 11AM-2PM, John Chavis Community Center

• Connect with local resources and take part in honoring the veterans whose service and sacrifice have shaped our community throughout history at this free celebration event.

— November 15th —

Art Bash 2025: Carolina Kaleidoscope — Info

When & Where: 6-10PM, Artspace Raleigh

• Art Bash 2025 includes gallery exhibitions, private and live collecting opportunities, art experiences, gourmet bites, and a curated live art bid. Get your tickets above at the link!

Vintage + Vinyl Market: Tattoos, Music, & Vendors! — Info

When & Where: Hartwell Raleigh, 12-14PM

• Another vendor market is back! The Hartwell this time with a great lineup of local vendors, music on their outdoor stage, and drinks on their patio rooftop in the trees.

FestiBull of Lights Grand Opening — Tickets

When & Where: Durham Bulls Athletic Park, through January

• Ride a Christmas Train, meet Santa Claus, walk the field and see a Christmas Light winter wonderland, synced up to Christmas music! See a small glimpse of it below:

81st Annual Raleigh Christmas Parade — Info

When & Where: Starts on Hillsborough Street, 9:30AM

• If you’re new to Raleigh, you may be thinking, “wait, it’s not even Thanksgiving yet” and you would be right to do so but tradition (since 1939) dictates it be held ahead of time to provide exposure to local businesses before the holiday time.

Pro-tip: Find a spot by 8:30AM for the best seats along the route

— November 25th —

Holiday Pops with the NC Symphony — Events

When & Where: Various Dates & Times in NC

• Join the Symphony’s most cherished holiday tradition as they bring seasonal classics to life! Includes timeless carols and spirited renditions of festive favorites.

— November 27th —

Thanksgiving Day

When & Where: All Day, Various Locations

• Not everyone is able (or is going to) celebrate a Thanksgiving meal but there are a few places that have to-go meals, volunteer efforts, and restaurants that should be open.

— November 29th —

NC State vs UNC Football — Calendar & Tickets

When & Where: TBA, Carter-Finley Stadium

• With all the drama around these teams this year and the local rivalry, this ought to be a good game. Snag tickets on the official site or use the gopack partner, seatgeek for more.
