🛻 Pickups, Pop-Ups, & Hopscotch - September 3rd
It's our fall soft launch, featuring the classic red pickup, we've got a few markets as well, plus hopscotch music festival takes over downtown for the weekend.
Happy Wednesday Raleigh! Lot’s to talk about today, so I’ve made a nice bulleted list below for your reading pleasure:
• It’s the soft launch of our fall theme! I’ve got a few more designs cooking and the store isn’t quite ready yet but the first signs of a Raleighwood Fall are here, hope you enjoy.
• The charity we have in mind for a portion of all store sales (through November) will be Beloved Asheville, more details on this with the launch of the fall store soon.
• Our music selection is expanding! Raleigh has a lot of great stuff going on but frankly, local bands tour locally too. We will start including nearby cities as well if it makes sense.
• We sent out a special email to a few select readers earlier today, want to be included on the next one? Keep opening and engaging with the newsletter and you’ll be added too!

• Quail Ridge Books is hiring a seasonal bookseller with need through January — details.
Openings & Builds
• Bar Marigold! That’s the name of the newest concept by local coffee chain Jubala Coffee and it is set to open in Fall 2025 — see the official location and announcement.
• The long empty City Market Royale space (across Moore Square and 42 & Lawrence) is getting a new Ramen & Izakaya Restaurant. My understanding is that an Izakaya is a casual Japanese style pub, but correct me if I’m wrong — see more here.

Fall 2025 - Seasonal Theme “Kinda Chilly”
Like I said at the top, I have a few more designs brewing that I may update the newsletter with once I am happy with them. The store is going to follow shortly too, looking forward to getting some time in this week and next to finalize those.
Also, a tad short on the community comments section this week too. Was writing this into the late night and frankly was getting a bit cross eyed trying to find local civic documentation (go figure), so more on that next week.
Thanks for reading and hope you enjoyed!
