Good Morning Raleigh!
If you haven’t heard someone screaming it from the rooftops yet, the Carolina Hurricanes have brought back the Stanley Cup to Raleigh, 20 years after they first won it. So many feel-good stories out of this playoff run (which went 16-3 by the way).
I’ve compiled some sources below on how to celebrate the occasion here in town and as always, plenty more to do this week as well down below:
Canes Updates
If you can’t make the impromptu downtown celebrations (the players visited Glenwood on Monday) — see them at the parade Saturday.
There will likely be more appearances by the team around town as the cup made its way to North Hills and Svechnikov was out serving plates at Raising Canes.
There will be some commemorative newspapers from News & Observer, but between scalpers and limited stock they are hard to find — keep an eye out through next week for more prints.
See some recent stats, photos, and updates on local Canes news from an unofficial but reliable Instagram account here — at Hurricanes Report.

The Raleighwood Inbox is a community supported newsletter, which means the more folks that read us, the longer we can keep this thing going strong.
Consider sharing below if you find value in the content shared here and as always, thanks for the support:
