Short & Sweet - Feb. 24th
It's quite a slow Monday in town as far as events go but I still have the latest news and I found what I can. Sometimes it's nice to slow down, isn't it?
Good morning Raleigh! It is a gorgeous day but an awfully condensed one today, so we’ll keep the intro short. Here’s what we have going on:

• The Raleigh City Council voted to keep 2 Hours of Free Parking at 5 Downtown Decks for the rest of the year, it received unanimous support in the community with nearly 88% of respondents in favor of keeping it.
• LiveNation has discontinued their popular Lawn Pass program for the 2025 concert season, the $239 pass used to get you into 20+ shows, so far there is no replacement.
• Shop Local Raleigh is having their annual meeting and networking event at Lincoln Theatre on Tuesday at 5PM, it is free to attend with many panelists planning to speak.
• The Night Market is still looking for vendors, recently opening their Durham location for applications - Learn more here.
• The Southside Community Cleanup Day is looking for Volunteers on March 1st at 11am to help clean the area between the MLK Statue & Memorial Gardens and Poe Elementary, after the even they will have Pelicans Snoball in attendance - Info here.

If you missed The Great Cover Up this past weekend at Kings, you missed a good lineup of cover bands.
Some notable acts (it’s a surprise until showtime) were: Iron Maiden, Dolly Parton, Cher, Leon Bridges, and Roy Orbinson, just to name a few.
