Good morning Raleighwood! It is finally Friday and it is shaping up to be a gorgeous weekend for the Super Bowl or whatever other plans you may happen to have.

• Trophy Brewing released their new Imperial IPA, “DROP THE GLOVES'“, clearly inspired by our local Hurricanes, check it out here.

• The Science is back with Adult Night! This time in the spirit of Valentines Day, titled “Wild Love” which I will link here. Must be 21 or older to attend - $15 for Members / $25

• Urban Oak just opened on the 14th floor of the new Hilton downtown on W Davie Street, no reservation required and open Tuesday through Saturday.

• Art in Bloom returns for 5 Days ONLY at NCMA, March 19-23 - $40 for Members / $50, more info here.

Sports & Athletics

• The Carolina Hurricanes take on the Utah Hockey Club for the first time on home ice, Saturday at 1PM. The Canes currently sit 2nd in the Metro Division and 5th overall.

• NCSU Softball kicked off their season with a 3-2 win against CSU Bakersfield, but a 0-9 loss against #12 Georgia. Their next games today and tomorrow against James Madison and Central Florida.

• If you haven’t heard (I am sure you have), the Super Bowl is Sunday. Don’t forget the chips and dip if you haven’t already.

• NC State Mens Basketball is on it’s worst losing streak with Keatts after 7 straight losses, most recently at the hands of Cal. They play Stanford on Saturday.
