With Spring weather in full swing (for now) there are loads of events starting back up into March here in Raleigh.

Good morning Raleigh! Take a walk outside if you haven’t yet, we’ve got a few days of 70 degree weather. Make it count with some of the plans listed out below!

• Next month is Women’s History Month and First Friday Raleigh will celebrate with events taking place at the Hartwell on March 7th - more info here.

Irregardless Cafe celebrated 50 years on Monday, having opened in 1975 as Raleigh’s first vegetarian restaurant. Governor Josh Stein declared the 24th of February to officially be Irregardless Restaurant Day - See the official post here and info here.

Annual Chlorine Time! The city of Raleigh will be flushing their water systems and upgrading their disinfection processes between February 27th - April 10th. You may notice slight changes in the color or smell but the water remains safe to consume.

North Carolina Museum of History curator Earl Ijames is presenting TODAY in the lunchtime Discover Series as he goes over the History of Longleaf Pine Forests in North Carolina - The online link for later can be found here on their Facebook.

• NCSU Baseball falls to Richmond yesterday, following their loss to Coastal Carolina on Sunday. They look to take on Syracuse in New York later today at 7PM on ESPNU.

• NCSU Football has cancelled it’s spring game and practices that are open to the public prior to the start of the season, read more on the changes here.

• The Hurricanes have now lost 4 of their last 5, on the heels of the massive Rantanen and Hall trade, one of the worst streaks they’ve had all season. The NJ Devils are now tied with us for 2nd in the Metro, with one more game played. The Canes take on the Sabres Thursday at home.
