• The Village District, has started a patio music series over in the vicinity of Starbucks on the patio nearby — check out Cody Daniel Music there from 6-8PM tonight.

— Thursday 2nd —

• The Raleigh Wide Open Kickoff Celebration, a free live music event to start off this weekends festivities, starts at 6PM, with parking opening up on campus after 5PM — kickoff celebration details.

• The Hartwell has an Eras Tour Watch Party this Thursday — check it out from 4-8PM!

• Band on the Roof returns with Matthew Logan Vasquez + Jack the Radio, at a sky lounge Downtown (Mira Raleigh Apartments) — last event sold out, get yours here.

• Raleigh Wide Open Begins! This festival takes place Friday night from 5-11PM and Saturday from 12-11PM — see the full band lineup here.

• Celebrate First Fright-Day from 5-8PM in Smoky Hollow before you head over to the festival for the night. Features a professional photo-op, live music, vintage clothing, and specials from all the businesses nearby — event info.

• Raleigh City Farm is back with First Saturdays, tour the farm, signup for hands-on activities, and shop at their local farm stand — details here.

— Sunday 5th —

• The “Special Extra Spooky Edition” (their words not mine) Pop Shop ARTernative market returns this Sunday with their biggest event yet! 50 vendors, food, coffee — 9AM-4PM.

• Cure your Sunday Scaries with some DJ Friends and Patio Weather over at Bitter Social a brand new cocktail bar above Centro in Downtown — 2-6PM for the vibes.

• Dram & Draught hosts a Halloween themed Drink & Design which includes all art supplies and a cocktail — paint your own ghost here.

— Monday 6th —

• Unfortunately, The Wicked Witch and The Night Rider are closing November 2nd, marking yet another safe space closing in Raleigh, help them celebrate nearly 10 years here in their last month as they figure out what’s next — events here.

— Sports News —

• NCSU lost out to a field goal in the 4th Quarter against Virginia, they play Campbell at home this weekend at 2PM.

• The Panthers and Canes went to OT yesterday, Canes losing out 4-3 after a pretty enjoyable pre-season game. Last preseason game this Saturday.

• NC FC beat out Miami FC 1-0 Friday, the take on Birmingham Tuesday at 8PM.

• NC Courage just lost out 2-1 to Seattle on Sunday, their next game is Saturday as they look to get back into a playoff position.
