• Dinner Club sold out! We filled 48 seats tonight. For those who signed up, see you soon. For those on the wait-list, there will be another very soon. Promise!

• We’re going to test some format changes in the newsletter and I am inviting all of YOU to leave feedback, find that at the bottom of the newsletter over the next few weeks.

Wednesday 5th

• Dinner Club! It’s sold out as everyone is already booked and matched with a table but add yourself to the wait-list to keep up to date on our next events — do that here.

• Mario Kart Tournament! Downtown at The Davie, cash prize for the winner at 8-10PM — dodge those blue shells here.

• Oak City Salsa has it’s last salsa night of the year from 7-10PM tonight at Transfer Co. Food Hall — dancing info.

Thursday 6th

• The Carolina Hurricanes are back home against the Minnesota Wild at 7PM — tickets.

• Cannonball has charity comedy event, Cause For Laughter on Thursday — details.

• Moonlight in the Garden is sold out for it’s first night (Preview Night) but grab tickets for the last few days they have open near the bottom of the page — linked here.

• NC State Men’s Basketball take on UAB late Friday at 9PM — tickets here.

• 21Marbles, the 21+ event at the Marbles Museum Downtown is hosting Play On! A grown-up game with yard games, playground events, and more — tickets here.

Saturday 8th

• The Gregg Museum of Art & Design is hosting a nature themed community festival focused on the connection of art, science, and plants — check our Rooted here.

• Dad’s Rejoice! The Raleigh Stroll Club is a 10AM stroll around Laurel Hills Park, check out the family friendly event details here — Instagram flyer.

• The Market at RIW returns, check out local vendors from 11-4PM — info here.

• Artsplosure + Edge of Urge are hosting a Person Street Block Party over in Oakwood this weekend from 11AM-4PM — pop ups, live music, and farm tours.

Sunday 9th

• Moore Square has a Pop-up Skate Park this weekend at Moore Square — learn more.

Monday 10th - Veterans Day

• Many things are closed so no events here today, perhaps take the day to rest or read here to learn more about the history of Veterans Day.

Tuesday 11th

• The Canes take on The Washington Capitals for Veterans Night at 7PM — tickets and other seasonal themed nights here.

• Our public Discord is live! We’ve got a dedicated space for dinner club chat if you have questions, as well as space to just chat about Raleigh and other things going on in the community — check it out here.

Local Jobs

• Less job, more booth but Artsplosure is opening applications for next year for select categories, open November 6th — info for vendors here.

• We’ve added a few more jobs to the board this week, including some part time local work and full time city / sports postings that seem solid — check it out here.

Openings & Builds

• Battle & Birdie opens November 11th over on Six Forks Road, check out the Neon lit gaming location from the creators of Partee Shack — see grand opening here.

• Chow over on Creedmoor Rd has permanently closed as of 11/3, see their announcement after being open for 15 years — info here.

Local Sports

• The NC FC ⚽️ have announced a bid to apply to the USL Division One League, with this the team will be on a (hopefully) temporary hiatus while the application process and the hopes for a larger stadium — read the full and ongoing announcement here.

• The NC Courage broke the NC Professional Women’s Sports attendance record this past game, ending their season with a win but falling short just one spot from playoffs, check out their homepage here for details on the end of the season as a whole:
