Wednesday 29th

• It seems like today is the very last Seasonal Farm-stand at Raleigh City Farm (website says April-October) so stop by for the last time while you can, 4-6PM — info.

• One does not simply walk into Mordor… unless you’re here for Lord of The Rings & The Hobbit In Concert. Walk in at 4PM to Raleigh Memorial Auditorium — info for hobbits.

• Unidentified Funny Objects sold out their last comedy show, run it back again late night at 10PM for this top secret lineup over at Flying Saucer — learn more here.

• Need an early Halloween event? Junction West hosts a spooky event with themed drinks, music, and a solo/couple/pet costume contest from 6-11PM — details.

• Gig for Good, a benefit concert through Activate Good (who helps connect volunteers with local causes) takes place at Bowstring Brewyard from 6-9PM — learn more here.

• Marbles IMAX is bringing Sinners back Thursday and Friday for Halloween! We watched this a few months ago and really enjoyed it — tickets here (17+ for R rated movies).

Friday 31st - Halloween 🎃 

Editor Note: There are so many events for Friday night, check your favorite venues website or social page as I left off at least 20 things I didn’t have room for.

The legendary Oakwood Halloween House (yes, the one with ALL of the decorations) is hosting a FREE block party at 6PM with costumes, prizes, and a non-perishable donation mission to help stock the NC State student-led food pantry — details on the event here.

• Booooogie Nights, a night of Funk Music and drink specials running from 9PM to midnight kicks off at Watts & Ward — cash prizes for best costume too.

• Crank Arm Brewing celebrates All Hallows Eve at 8PM with karaoke and a costume contest, multiple costume prizes and more — see it here.

• Sneaky Penguin Brewing is also hosting a more low-key event if downtown isn’t your speed, find drinks, music, costumes and more from 5-10PM — website here.

• Bands & Babes, a Halloween Special event at Chapel of Bones is a night of metal music and burlesque performances with costume contest with multiple rounds — info here.

Saturday 1st - November!

• The Market at NCMA returns from 11AM-4PM! Stop by for some live music, local artist, and hopefully some much clearer weather for the Halloweekend — details and location.

• It’s the first Saturday of the month and that means it’s time for Cars & Coffee, check out (by far) the largest car meetup around. It starts at 8AM but get there earlier for a good spot. This month features TriangleRAD, a group of 80’s and 90’s collectors — info here.

• Check out multiple performances between Saint Mary’s School and NCMA for the 12th Annual Paderewski Piano Festival — learn more about the event here.

Sunday 2nd

• The City of Oaks Marathon takes place this weekend. If you aren’t running in it, be mindful of the traffic ranging from downtown near Smoky Hollow all the way up Hillsborough and towards Meredith College — full event info on their page.

• A newsletter favorite, the Pop Shop ARTernative Market kicks off again this weekend from 11AM-4PM at Chapel of Bones — info here.

• The Cary Underground Market also takes place this weekend, starts at 12PM, music at 1:30PM and goes until 4PM over at Bond Brothers in Downtown Cary — all events here.

Monday 3rd

• The Hurricanes had their first home game in almost 2 weeks last night against the Vegas Golden Knights. They kept it close given the injuries most of the game but let in 3 in the last few minutes for a 6-3 loss at home, they play the Islanders Thursday.

• The NC FC have made it to the playoffs! Check out their game on Saturday at home against Loudoun United — tickets here.

• The NC Courage are in a must-win situation against Gotham FC, go pack their stands for the last game of the regular season on Sunday — tickets here.
