Did you know Raleigh has foreign Sister Cities? One of those sisters celebrates it’s 25th anniversary at Transfer Co. Ballroom this Friday. Stop by and and meet the delegation — from Rostock, Germany.

250th Independence Day
Downtown marks America's 250th with a parade down Fayetteville Street, running 9:30AM to noon — free to watch, park early.
Raleigh's Fourth of July celebration returns to Dix Park as well with food trucks, music, and activities, and a fireworks show at 9:30PM — be mindful of parking, consider ride shares.
The State Capitol grounds host an all-day festival celebrating America's 250th with arts, history, food trucks, and live music — runs 10-4PM.
Pure Life Theatre Company brings a concert presentation of Hair to Fred Fletcher Park, with spoken word, art, and family-friendly activities celebrating peace and love — FREE with registration.
If you’re looking to get out of town, check out Saturdays in Saxapahaw with the Alamance Jazz Band — live in the ballroom.
