Botanical Gardens, Spring Markets, & More! - Feb. 28th
The weather is bringing out the best that Raleigh has to offer with markets starting back up and gardens in full bloom.
Good morning Raleigh! Hope you’re doing well. It’s Friday, we got that pesky rain out of the way last night, and we are in the clear for the weekend and WOW, so much to do.

• Juniper Level Botanical Gardens has their FREE open garden days again this weekend. They have more than 27,000 taxa of plants on display and many you can buy from their nursery. They only have 8 weekends per year when they open to the public.
• As part of the Raleigh Convention Center expansion, the city will permanently close South Street, from Dawson to McDowell, on April 14. This is to start staging for construction, details outlined here.
• Apple has announced another NC Data Center as part of a larger investment plan but the RTP location still seems to be on pause - Read more on ABC.
• According to the RaleighGov accounts, Red Hat Amphitheater doubled its economic impact downtown with $33.7 million and over 280,000 attendees.
• Chapel of Bones has their Monthly “ARTernative” Market on Sunday at 11am. There will be coffee, brunch, and lunch (plus a variety of local vendors)!
• Speaking of markets, TrianglePopUp has their first market of the season at NCMA this Saturday from 11-4. Saturday looks like great weather so be sure to check it out!

I try to keep this section below focused a bit more on smaller bands, artists, and local acts however, there are sometimes good big name acts coming through. When there are some bigger acts coming through, I will add that up here - Link Here.

I will likely being doing some housekeeping on the newsletter next week, so let me know if you enjoy the changes or not.
Hoping to build things out a bit more and expand some sections of each newsletter with things about Volunteering, more focuses on local business, and a few that I want to keep secret.
What else do you think I should include in my newsletter? Like always, your feedback is just one reply away. Thanks and have a good weekend!
